Scour the news for an entirely uninteresting story. Consider how it connects to your life. Write about that.

Mystery sculpture prompts appeal for artist

This was the headline that popped up while scrolling through the news app on my phone. It was written on the BBC website about a mysterious sculpture that has appeared on the Kentish coast in England.

It caught my attention, because I think it fits the question ‘uninteresting’ very well!

I think it connects to my life because I think it would make a great story and I’ve always wanted to write and publish a book. I also like art as well and the fact that it’s a random sculpture – I like that sense of humour. (I claim no responsibility though…)

If you know who it belongs to, or who it doesn’t, please comment below and like!
