What’s it all about?
Hi Brenda,
Hope you are well. Here’s my next review. I’m out of books now, so if you have anymore for me that would be great.
Thanks
Jamie

Whats it all about? Just like the title suggests, this is a book crammed to the spine with facts about Robots. And, not just any old facts, ones that you probably weren’t aware of before: slime soft robot that can be swallowed, anyone; Sophia, the robot with 62 facial expressions; by 2050 people will be marrying robots suggests Dr David Levy? I could go on. The speed with which technology is changing is remarkable, and this book succinctly chronologies it all; from what a robot is, to the rise of robots to amazing advances.
Why should I read it? Even though there is a scary side, I came away from this book feeling positive about the future. I’m sure children in Year 5 upward would find this book fascinating – the pictures are many and varied. The writing is in small manageable chunks and there are lots of great non-fiction writing features to engage with. It also ends with a fun quiz!
