Do you spend more time thinking about the future or the past? Why?

This is a great questions. I think in the past (no pun intended) I used to not just think about the past, but more dwell on it, and possibly even dwell in it, which I think has quite negative connotations. Now, I tried to force myself to look to the future, as this is healthier – you can’t change the past, but you can change your future. Your future is for you to decide: mistakes, happenences, luck, all of them are there to grab hold of. Historically speaking, people though do tend to ignore the past and repeat similar mistakes, so I wouldn’t be against the past it total, as lessons can be learned and good lessons at that.
