Write about a random act of kindness you’ve done for someone.

This is definitely a cringe inspiring question. I really dislike having to ‘toot my own horn’.

However, what I would say is that I sometimes shop in a supermarket in England called the Co op (and I’m not sponsored by them in anyway!). They seem to try and do a bit of good in the community by giving money, donated by customers, to local charities. As well as this, they advertise local charities to volunteer with. So, a few years ago, after the pandemic, I thought I’d join one. It’s a local charity to me, and they offer services to local elderly people, such as giving lifts to hospital appointments; collecting prescriptions; or befriending. Therefore, every 6 weeks or so, I walk round the corner to my neighbour’s house and I help her with her gardening and have a bit of a chat.

I’m not sure if it quite fits the question, as it’s no longer random, but organised; however, it was random to begin with!
