Thirteen Unpredictable Tales by Paul Jennings

An amazing imagination on display here by author Paul Jennings. These 13 short stories are definitely short and are all very different, but equally wonderful and well… weird. Be warned there are some stories which are more appropriate for children in secondary school, but generally they are just strange. Really inspiring stories for young writers as it shows you just where you might end up going with a story and how small ieas can turn into wonderful stories. I always enjoy reading the story called ‘The Copy’ for Halloween to whichever class I am teaching at the time (often in a dark room where the children are only allowed to use torches to see by) – it never fails to freak out young readers!
